Credit Card Payment Option Available

You can now pay your fines from the comfort of your own home. Citizens who have been issued tickets by the Toole County Justice of the Peace/Shelby City Judge, Motor Carrier Services, Montana Highway Patrol and/or Toole County Sheriff's Office are are encouraged to pay court fees and fines online at: www.citepayusa.com/mt
You can use credit cards and debit cards with the VISA logo - the system will not accept e-checks. Make your "run in with the law" a little less painful by paying your ticket online today!

Public Transportation

Bus Service is available for Toole County residents and visitors! Check out the schedules (left side of this page) for trips from Sweet Grass to Shelby as well as from Shelby to both Kalispell and Great Falls . . . great things are happening in Toole County! If you have any questions about the bus service, call 406-470-0727 for more information.

Wind Farm Information

Animated Wind TowersCheck out the construction of the Glacier Wind Farm (link on left side of this page). 140 towers were erected; 100 towers are located in Toole County and 40 in Glacier Thanks to Dean Hellinger for the interesting construction photos. The Rim Rock Wind Farm is currently in the "Late Stage of Development" phase. Check out http://www.naturener.net for more information on this exciting project.

GED Preparation Available

Classes to assist persons interested in obtaining the equivilant of a high school diploma (General Educational Development) meet in the Shelby Library on Tuesdays from 3-7 p.m. and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. There is no cost for these classes! Give Sue Kasper a call for more information - 434-2450.

Toole County Book Clubs

The Shelby Friends of the Library's book club meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at noon (bring a lunch) in the Toole County Library. "The Other Book Club" meets the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the basement of The Griddle Cafe - have some brunch, discuss the book of the month and meet new friends - for more information contact Anne Wiens at sweetgrassdesigns@yahoo.com or Carol Mundt at carolrae@3rivers.net "Readers Unite", a third choice for a Toole County book club, meets the third Thursday of each month in the Sunburst Library Hospitality Room, with the discussion beginning at 7 p.m. For more information on the "Readers Unite" book of the month, contact the Sunburst branch librarian, Mary Jo Aschim, at aschim@northerntel.net Everyone is welcome to join the fun!

Board of Health Invitation

The Toole County Board of Health meetings are open to the public.  Meetings are held in the Toole County Health Department Conference Room, at 402 1st Street South, Shelby, Montana at 12:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November.  Questions or issues concerning the board or the meetings should be addressed to Steve Osgood at 424-5169 or osgood@3rivers.net.
