The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. The Center is not open on weekends or holidays unless for a special event.
Activities include cards, bingo, special entertainment, puzzles and books.
Nutritious noon meals and Meals on Wheels are served Monday through Friday. Meals are not available on the weekends or holidays.
Reservations for meals are requested by 10:00 a.m. on the day of the meal. Please call 434-2992 to make a reservation. A $6.00 per person donation is suggested for individuals over age 60, and the cost for lunch is $7.00 for persons under age 60.
The Shelby Senior Center offers Respite Care for caregivers living in the home. For more information on this program contact the Shelby Senior Center and we will answer any questions you may have concerning respite care.
The Shelby Senior Center receives financial support from donations, state, federal and county funds.
The Shelby Senior Center offers the building for rent to private parties, meetings, anniversaries, family or group functions. Call 434-2992 for more information and to schedule reservations.
